What If Money Was Already Looking for You?
What if you've had the whole thing backward?
What if money isn't something you earn, attract, hustle for, or figure out — and what if it never was?
I know that sounds like a bold thing to say. But stay with me for a second, because this idea changed everything for me. And not in a "cute new perspective" kind of way. In a permanent, irreversible, can-never-go-back kind of way.
A 100 Year Old Book Is Still Cutting Edge
In 1903, a New Thought teacher named Henry Harrison Brown wrote a small, radical book called Dollars Want Me. And the title alone tells you everything you need to know about how far ahead of his time he was.
Brown didn't teach people how to make more money. He didn't offer strategies. He didn't talk about funnels or pricing models or content calendars. He said something so simple it almost sounds too easy:
You are the power. The dollar is a machine. And it wants to come to you.
Not the other way around.
Let that land for a second.
Because most of us were raised inside a completely different story. We were taught — through family, through culture, through watching the adults around us — that money is scarce, that it has to be earned through hard work, and that wanting too much of it makes you greedy or selfish or dangerous.
And those beliefs didn't just stay in our childhood. They followed us into our businesses. Into our pricing. Into the way we show up when it's time to receive.
Think about the last time you sat down to price something you created. Did you start from what it was worth — or did you start from what you thought people would pay? Think about the last time money left your account. Did it feel like deployment — or did it feel like loss? Think about how you feel on a slow month. Does your nervous system stay steady, or does something deep inside start whispering that you need to do more, post more, push harder, prove something? That's not a business problem. That's a consciousness pattern. And no amount of strategy will outrun it.
The Paradigm Flip
Here's what I've come to understand:
Money is not a thing you go get. Money is consciousness made visible.
That means your relationship with money isn't really about money at all. It's about what you believe about yourself. It's about what your nervous system has been trained to expect. It's about the story you inherited before you were old enough to question it.
And when that story says "you have to chase it," you chase it. When that story says "there's never enough," you create exactly that. When that story says "who are you to have more?" — you cap yourself. Every time.

The strategy isn't the problem. Your consciousness is the cause.
So what happens when you flip it?
What happens when you stop operating from "I need to make money" and start standing in "dollars want me"?
Everything shifts.
You stop building from scarcity. You stop creating offers from fear. You stop undercharging because some part of you still believes you have to prove you're worth it. You stop treating every dollar that leaves your hands like a loss — and you start treating it like a worker you're deploying on a mission.
That's what Brown called conscious circulation. Every dollar you spend goes out with a job to do — and it comes back multiplied. Not because of magic. Because of consciousness.
When you truly understand that you are the source — that your business is the outlet, not the origin — you stop showing up like someone begging the universe to cooperate. You show up like the honey. And the honey doesn't chase anything. It just is what it is. And everything it's meant for comes to it.
This is what's less known about living on the other side of this shift: it's quieter than you expect. There's no dramatic moment where the sky opens up and cash rains down. What happens is subtler and more powerful than that. You stop bracing. You stop calculating whether you're allowed to want what you want. You start noticing money showing up in ways you didn't engineer — and instead of calling it a coincidence, you recognize it as the natural result of who you've become. Your whole relationship with receiving changes and not because you learned a new technique, but because you stopped being the person who believed they had to earn the right to have it.
This is not a mindset hack. This is not a visualization trick you do for five minutes and then go back to survival mode.
This is a paradigm shift. A permanent one.
And it's the entire foundation of my program, Prosperity Rebels.
